An exported film waits in a temporary folder for one day. Tap Save to Photos, or share it, to keep it.

A free export carries a small Notch mark in its corner and ends on a short Notch card. Notch Pro takes both off. The film inside the app never carries the mark.

Yes. Open the journal, edit it, and turn off Dates on the film. Each journal keeps its own choice.

Touch and hold the day in the grid, then choose Leave Out of Film. The clip stays in the journal.

Yes. Tap the empty day in the grid, and import a video from your library. With Notch Pro, Quick Fill finds videos for many empty days at once.

Each journal has two rest days in each month. Tap Take a Rest Day on Today, or touch and hold a day in the grid. A rest day gets no reminder. If you record it after all, the rest comes back to you.

Reminders stop after 7 days without a visit to Notch. Open Notch, and they start again. A day that already has its clip gets no reminder.

Your clips live on your iPhone. With Notch Pro, open Settings in Notch and turn on Backup to iCloud. Each clip then goes to the private iCloud of your own Apple Account. Your iPhone backup can also hold the data of Notch.

Sign in to the new iPhone with the same Apple Account. Open Notch, and turn on Backup to iCloud. The days in iCloud join the days on the new iPhone, and nothing there is replaced.

Open Settings in Notch, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that bought Notch Pro.

Open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also tap Manage the Subscription in the settings of Notch. Your clips and your journals stay when Pro ends.

Deleting the app deletes each clip on the iPhone. Save your films first, or turn on Backup to iCloud. A copy in iCloud stays until you delete it.
